Our Carnival Circus section is based on the Super Circus children’s show that aired on ABC television, Sunday afternoons from 5 to 6pm from 1949 to 1956. The award-winning show featured circus and clown acts performing in front of a live studio audience. Mary Hartline and Claude Kirchner were the hosts. Mary, known for her appearance and personality became a fan favorite. The show inspired the Louis Marx Super Circus Toy Playset with figures and a tin circus tent. Mary Hartline also hosted Princess Mary's Magic Castle.

The TemplarMill Classic Fantasy Toy Train Railroad is proud to display the circa 1950s Marx tinplated Super Circus playset tent with amazing characters and lithographs. The display has been updated to capture the atmosphere and magic of a real Carnival Circus. Check out Mary performing under the Circus tent. Also, see our Video Section for more of the Carnival Circus.
